As a business, we know that everything we do has an impact, but we’re making decisions to reduce that as quickly as we can. For instance, when we shut up shop every night, our smart coffee machines also get a rest, helping us to reduce our carbon footprint.

We also recycle all our coffee sacks into carpet underlay and, in 2012, received international environmental accreditation for our Roastery in the UK – the first accreditation of its kind anywhere in the world! After all, it was built with sustainability in mind, with a full energy Efficient LED lighting scheme, electric car charging points, zero waste-to-landfill, on-site renewable energy, and rainwater harvesting.

Beyond that we have also made our iconic paper cups recyclable – so yes, you can take them home and recycle them! We are now working on ensuring more are recovered and recycled.
